Simple but intensely flavourful, it consists of pork ribs and other cuts simmered slowly in stock until tender, with herbs and spices including star anise, cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds and garlic.
This is great with rice or noodles.

OYSTER OMELETTE
 consists of an omelette with oysters filling, mixed starch or flour into the egg batter
 to form a thicker or sticky consistency,
served with a chili sauce and garnished with spring onions, parsley or coriander.

The popular noodle dish or the most loved dish in Singapore
CHAR KWAY TEOW (fried flat noodles)
a dish made by wok-frying flat noodles in pork fat and dark sweet soya sauce stir in egg, garlic, bean sprouts, fish cake  (almost similar to Pad Thai )
and chili paste on the side
little sweet, little savoury, little smoky taste = PERFECT!
Finally I have now tasted the original singapore Char Kway Teow, The first time I tasted char kway teow was in Secret Recipe Philpinnes and I found it awesome from then.

 
McDonalds is everywhere but you can't find any Jollibee fastfood
 in Singapore but you can have a JOLLIBEAN! :))
though they are not similar with Jollibee coz they serve fresh, healthy soya products , they are just similar in Jollibee's font or logo. lol




 
The traditional south Indian food
ROTI PRATA
 a flour based pancake prepared by flipping the dough into a large thin layer
and it is cooked over a flat grill and usually served with any curry based.
This can also be eaten both as a savoury and as a dessert,
as you can add some fillings in your roti prata like cheese, beef and mushroom,
onion,  red bean, mushroom or egg, chocolate, blueberry, banana and more.

THAI NOODLE EXPRESS


 
Otak Otak or "BRAIN" food
a delightful snack consisting of mashed fish marinated with coconut milk,
chili paste, onions, ginger, turmeric lemongrass, garlic,
wrapped in a fresh banana leaf and left to sizzle or grilled lighlty over hot coals.

It was called "BRAIN" food ; which derived from its soft, mushy texture.
You can find it in every streetwalk or hawkers centers.


You can't leave the place without trying the popular eating place... the HAWKER
Hawker Center is an open-air complexes housing many stalls that sell
 a variety of affordable and authentic dishes.


NASI LEMAK
a platter of food  served in a banana leaf wrapping, with fragrant rice, deep-fried chicken, small dried anchovies, roasted peanuts, a slice of egg omelette , and a paste made from chillies, dried shrimp and spices which is also known as sambal.

 
One thing you should try when you are in Singapore
is to eat at Singapore hawker center.
Singapore people do not cook at home instead they settle their
 breakfast, lunch or dinner in some hawker centers, that's why
hawker center is an icon representative of Singpore way of life.

sooo excited to try this popular sidewalk snack -- ICE CREAM SANDWICH!!!!:)

 
You can see some ice-cream carts / sidewalk vendors
along orchard road selling ice cream for only S$1.
Ice cream comes in variety of flovours like
Vanilla, Chocolate Chips, Macadamia, Mango, Sweet Corn, Red beans etc.
After you choose a flavor then you choose
if it will be sandwich in 2 pieces of wafers or in a colorful bread,
 or in a cup if you requested to.

Woohooo! a thick ice cream slice in a colorful sandwich bread,
the best $1 you'll ever spend in Singapore, swear!


 
From Orchard Road to Bugis Village
 
was attracted with this playful and funky stall in bugis junction

 
There is nothing like a good 100% fat-free yoghurt

 
across the Bugis Junction is the Bugis Street

BUGIS STREET is where you can find a lot cheaper stuffs,
 great for pasalubong or souvenirs.
The place was quite similar to mongkok market in hongkong and
divisoria mall in Philippines.
They have great variety of choices, from shirt, key chains, magnets, etc.
and all that korean dresses sold everywhere online,
 you can find it here for a low price.

 
not only good stuffs but also good singaporean FOOD






 
After a long walk around bugis and you're bound to be thirsty,
cold drinks  are hawked by stalls in Bugis. I tried the honey dew and passion fruit.


 
Crispy Pancakes
 with your choice of fillings like red bean, cheese, peanuts,
sugar, coconut, egg, blueberry, durian, etc.
They were really good,  extremely crispy and delicious.
 Not like your ordinary pancake at home! :)
